I ordered chicken. I expected it to be grilled or 'bar-b-qued', but it was fried. The skin was crispy. All of th bar-b-que sauces I tried tasted like vinegar, even the tomatoe based flavors. The baked beans tasted like they were basically just generic inexpensive beans straight out if the can with no additional flavor added- they were the worse beans I've ever had at a restaurant. The staff was friendly, but I did not enjoy the food.

I had to pay extra for a dinner and $1 extra for takeout box. BBQ was bland and fatty. Longer tahn average wait time for this type of food. The staff was unfriendly. I will not be returning.

The food was quite good. Portions for the prices was high. The condiment area was in total disarray. Food came out in spurts, had to wait 10 extra minutes to get rest of my combo meal, which happen to all customers that dined in. All in all I felt as if I was at a bbq that was moved inside and was in disarray. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was very pleasant. the restaurant needs more attention in many areas if its going to survive.

Place was dirty ( floors, tables etc ) the kitchen door was open to the dinning area and it looked dirty too... The person preparing the food had no gloves or mesh in hair . The food was tasteless chicken fingers seems to have been frozen and fried ... Sauces smelled like if they were going bad , the fries were stale , the tea was water down ... Tuna salad sandwich was soggy it will drip out ... Service was non existent ... Went with my children and was told I could not use groupon with family meals ...couldn't order rack of ribs either so pretty much they decide what you eat ... This was never disclose / included in the fine print .... Regret going ... Waste of money ... Wouldn't recommend

From Our Editors

The cooks at Farmer's BBQ know that good barbecue takes time. That’s why they slow-cook their beef brisket for up to 22 hours, wrapping the meat midway through to ensure that it stays tender and retains its juices. They also take their time preparing pulled pork, bone-in chicken, and other barbecue classics, rounding out plates with sides such as chicken and dumplings or sweet-potato fries. Diners can end meals on a sweet note with housemade peach cobbler or banana pudding.
