About this business
From Our Editors
Sometimes people visit hotels to find refuge from an unfamiliar city. Other times it’s to take in views of the skyline while enjoying cocktails, fine food, and candy desserts. The MileNorth Hotel accommodates travelers and revelers of all stripes. On the main floor, executive chef Rah Shabazz crafts refined American cuisine, while on the 29th floor, guests mingle on a rooftop bar, known as C-View, overlooking the city. The restaurant’s colors are reminiscent of an antique photo – faded browns and bits of toned-down golds – yet the design is sleek and modern with long, leather booths and glossy hardwood floors. Nestled into booths, brunchers quietly regale each other with weekend stories over brioche French toast, porkbelly omelets, or a lobster club sandwich. Twenty-nine floors above, guests overlook busy streets from inside a sophisticated lounge or outdoor terrace. Guests can enjoy a bar menu of C-House’s delights including artisanal cheeses, mini yellowtail tacos, and mac 'n' cheese made with chevre. Candy desserts finish meals with white or dark chocolates, toasted marshmallows, or a snickerdoodle sandwich. Those looking for pre- or post-prandial drinks may sip of such specialty cocktails as citrus vodka with pomegranate puree or silver tequila with honeydew-cucumber puree and black pepper.
