The Catedral café offers exotic combination of foods that combines the traditional Mexican food with what is considered typical American food. I tried the carne Asada Panini ( steak taco meat panini) with jalapenos and cheese and it was delicious. They also offer natural juice drinks. I tried the guayaba drink and it tasted like a real fresh guayaba from mexico. They also have crepes with different combinations of toppings ( the mango crepes is on my list of things to order next time). If you live or are near the little village area I would encourage you to try this place but be on the lookout for parking as soon as you can because most likely you will not find parking infront.

Awesome experience. Had some great food with great company. The cafe itself is unique in its own way and the very friendly staff also makes this for a wonderful time. I had their steak panini and highly recommend it. I will be returning soon.

The Chicken with Mole was plainly bad. The chicken was very hard and dry. I had a very hard time even trying to cut the chicken. The mole was very sour.

From Our Editors

Though Spanish is the predominant language in the kitchen at La Catedral Cafe, under new management since January of 2012, the restaurant's eclectic cuisine translates to any palate. The menu is rife with American sandwiches, Mexican entrees, and breakfast dishes that fuse the two, but somehow without the use of magnets. It also adapts these flavors to the dietary practices of vegans and vegetarian diners. Ornate rounded tables dot the rustic dining room, where ceiling fans lazily loop above sunbaked decor that evokes a high-end south-of-the-border hot spot.
