There was a lot of negtive feedback about the macaroni on Yelp... and it was for good reason. Please change it up! Different cheese, more seasoning... something!

While the decor and name speaks New Orleans, expect more southern fare with a few native Nawlins' selections. Only went for brunch so not sure if menu contains more selections.

The Groupon advertised a Jazz Sunday brunch so I expected to hear live jazz. There was no such thing, but the food was still delicious.

I went on a Sunday afternoon. There was two large parties there and the staff was completely overwhelmed. The buffet took forever to re-stock with fresh food, and there was not enough plates/untensils out. Although it's been open at least a year, this restaurant needs to grow a little more. Kitchen staff and wait staff needs more experience. But the staff was friendly and apologetic. They realized the service was less than desirable,

The food and the service was great. In a business where customer service is so important, do not compromise on that. Continue what you are doing with customer service and treat each person extra special. One recommendation I would make is to invest in a higher qualtiy decorum. The food is spectacular, but the ambiance can deter guest from ordering. To ensure longjevity on this area, try leasing or consulting a decorator. Allow the abmiance to meet the high standard of the fools and you will reap the benefits.

From Our Editors

Featured on 190 North and ChicagosBestTV.com, Le Fleur de Lis's chef Allen J. Rochelle Jr. crafts a menu of creole classics from his hometown in southwest Louisiana. According to reporter Brittney Payton of ChicagosBestTV.com, "Every single bite has a kick, a punch, a smack" of heat—including oysters, catfish, and shrimp deep-fried in a spice-infused buttermilk batter. Cajun seasonings also light a fire under classics such as crayfish étoufée and meat-packed jambalaya. Outside, crimson-coated brick walls depict a jazz band belting tunes, while inside, figures in neighborhood scenes try to convince diners to share their meals.
