Yes, i have sent many peoople to Rumba, I was so disappointed to find out on the last day they would be open that they would close that night. I hope that they will reopen - they are unique. I wish them well. Merri Dee AARP Illinois State President WGN-TV

I came here with my boyfriend. For $56, we were to have a 4 course meal. Now I know that $56 isn't a huge amount but its a lot more than a typical groupon that I buy. I expected a certain level of service. And I must say - i've bought many restaurant groupons before and have become a regular of some of them because they were excellent in terms of both food and service. While our server was attentive and professional, a lot went wrong with the dinner. First of all we got served the salad before the soup. Then our entree came before we got the soup. I had to tell the bus boy that we had ordered a soup along with our meal (I had actually mentioned when we first got the salad but he ignored me). He took the entrees back and when he brought us our soup he brought the wrong one for my boyfriend and had spilled soup all over the plate (so when it was put in front of my boyfriend, there was actually a puddle of soup on the plate holding the soup bowl). And my soup didn't have the garnish it was supposed to (tortilla strips). When we pointed this out to him, he looked angry and just walked away. We finally told the server who took care of it. All in all, I was disappointed that the soup order was off, that our entree came before we were served our soup and with the attitude that the bus boy had. Nobody apologized or seemed upset of how wrong things had gone. I've been a server before for 5 years and I would never let a customer get an order that was so wrong without apologizing and maybe offering a free drink or at least having the manager come apologize. I would definitely have come back had someone apologized for their mistakes or not had an attitude. But chicago is too big and there are too many great restaurants here to make we want to come back to one where so many mistakes were made and not one apology was offered. In fact, my boyfriend and I felt like we were inconveniencing both the buy boy and the waitress by requesting the food we had paid for and for it to be made according to how we asked. Also - your website actually says you have live music every day of the week but when we got there, we were told it was only on weekends. Rumba should update their website to be correct.
