Now This Is Something Special

Drawing on the techniques of traditional Chinese medicine, Spring Stream Acupuncture’s staff aims to reduce pain and discomfort and foster whole-body harmony by facilitating the movement of Qi. They approach this in a number of ways. One of these is acupuncture, a 1,000-year old technique. Licensed acupuncturists carry out a personal health interview and assessment and then tailor a treatment that can treat any number of ailments, including back pain, headaches, and hypertension. Another technique offered: Tui-na massage, an orthopedic massage that relieves muscle tension that can be caused by commuting to work on a roller coaster. The staff also offers cupping and moxibustion treatments. The former utilizes glass cups as vacuum devices; the latter uses heated herbs. Both help to boost circulation in the body and foster disease prevention.
