It took awhile to get my finished pieces. In future I’ll always get a point of contact name in advance. Overall I loved this Groupon adventure. My project piece is cute and having it at a restaurant I most like would not have gone to has totally changed my mind. I’d like to explore more downtown eateries now. The food at Inspirado is fabulous!

The room was a pig sty. We had a tiny cluttered table with four people trying to work. The cost of materials provided were two dollars at best. There are at least a hundred finished pieces that people have not picked up which is a huge indication of people's sentiments about this Groupon. This is the worst Groupon I have ever had!

This class was such a fun experience! You can tell Joe has a strong passion for glass artwork and it really shows in his teaching. My art piece not only turned out great but I had a blast making it as well! I would highly recommend buying this Groupon!

Very small, personal classes enable you to have One-On One instruction if necessary. Very inspirational studio. Would do again but take my mother along for the fun. I made a Beautiful Ice Bucket.

Although, not challenging, this was a fun class with an artist who enjoyed showing us what he knows and talking about his experiences.

Though extremely nice and entertaining, he talked for the first 45 minutes or so. I didn't particularly enjoy the process or the product. I'm glad I spent the money and had the experience but I will not be a repeat student. I would, however, recommend that someone do it at least once.

Mr. Drury is super nice and very informative. He gave us an overview of different glass techniques as well as an introduction to his history in art. I really enjoyed the intimate setting; it was a small class so we all got to talk and get to know each other.

From Our Editors

An artist who has worked across a variety of three-dimensional mediums since 1964, Joe Drury found his niche in giving new life to old glass. At DruryDesignArt, he shares the secrets of his up-cycled works, educating curious pupils in the art of transformation—literally. Using tired or outdated glass pieces, Drury fires, molds, and manipulates the hot, malleable glass, fusing on new pieces and reinventing the old form. Suited for students ages 8 and up, classes are open to all stripes, and ideal for family bonding, couples night out, or a therapeutic art date with man's best friend: snacks.
