Loved the selection. Not typical or expected. Clearly everything was made by bakery which was rare to see these days. I live 30 min away so I would definitely go back if I'm in the area.
Gentleman was less than friendly, cupcakes were not that good & store was closed when we tried to go several times.
When I ordered over the phone, the person helping me was very cocky and not very helpful. I understand retail and being busy doesn't make it easy to be on the phone, but coming from a customer service background, you have to find a way to do both. A person on the phone is a customer just like in person. I also left a message with a question about my order and never got a return back.
I wish that there were more choices.
Had a very difficult time using Groupon. Went there before Mother's Day was told I couldn't use it. But was able to use it Saturday before Father's. I love my Dad as much as Mom what is the difference? When I tried to use it last Saturday @ 12:30 in afternoon they didn't have enough pastries to cover a $30 voucher. Was told they had a very busy morning. About pastries not so good cupcakes more icing than cake, coffee cake was good. so use your own judgement but I won't be going back.
First and foremost, lose the attitude. You won't stand a chance with that laissez-fare approach toward first-time customers. Invest some more time in the selection that is available for walk-ins, especially if the intent is to expand beyond just a catering business.
Yes they are overpriced for items that were not fresh tasting.
While the goods have been fine, the server was less than cordial. Not sure if that is normal for the shop or it was because we were using the Groupon, which had to be presented up front according to a sign in the store.
