Seriously good Italian food is served at this small, quirky, very fun and relaxed restaurant. The owner and servers make everyone feel like friends. House Merlot was excellent. Spicy olive appetizer (recommended by server) was wonderful as was the antipasto plate of Italian meats and cold marinated eggplant. Entrees of ravioli alla ragu and chicken parmaggiano were delicious. Lots of off-menu daily specials are offered. We were too full to try any of the desserts or coffee. Would definitely head back here when in the mood for Italian food.

Walked in with my wife and two boys at 6:30 on a Friday night and the place was empty. I should have seen that as a sign. Fancy-looking menu, but way over-priced. Our server was apparently new and couldn't answer any questions about what was included with our Groupon deal or anything else. We ordered spagetti & meatballs ($13.99) and penne chicken with cream sauce ($15.99). The sauces were flat and tasted like they'd been sitting in pot all day. The meatballs were dry and tasted like they'd been frozen. My 6-year old son even said, "it is not as good as I expected." Our server also lacked attention and failed to get bread on the table until we were 3/4 done eating. Probably the single-worst italian food I've ever had. We would not go back even if we were offered a free meal.

From Our Editors

A brick oven blazes, transforming soft dough and raw vegetables into savory thin-crust pizza pies crowned with fresh mozzarella and 27 combinations of toppings. The methods used at Cafe Milano go back for centuries, and each dish honors the Italian tradition. Imported spaghetti noodles, gnocchi, and penne pasta support rich sauces, and house-made soups exercise atrophied slurping muscles. Freshly baked breads hold Italian meats such as mortadella and prosciutto together in handheld panini sandwiches. For dessert, in addition to pastries imported from Italy, servers scoop artisanal gelato in flavors such as tiramisu or biscotti, and thirsty diners can sip wine, beer, or frothy cappuccinos.
