Tracey Trambauer treasures the mind and body equally—she's spent more than 20 years studying spiritual approaches to living, as well as exercise, nutrition, and natural modes of healing. She combines this study of the mind and body at Still Lake Yoga, where she's the owner and master yoga instructor.
Her practice is rooted in the tradition of sivananda; this style of yoga focuses on 12 core poses and breathing exercises, and every session ends with a Sanskrit chant. But the studio explores all manner of yoga techniques and trends, including the trend of writing your crush's name all over your yoga mat. In addition to sivananda, classes include three other fluid styles of yoga and meditation that work to build flexibility and strengthen core muscles while inducing calm. To ensure clients of all physical abilities feel welcome, the instructors at Still Lake Yoga will adjust the pace of their classes, and they work to foster a relaxing, noncompetitive atmosphere.
