Food was very bland; we will not be going back.
Very, very friendly. Really good food. I loved the tables with the pictures as part of the table tops. We will certainly be back =)
Servers were knowledgeable and friendly.
Thank you for a delicious dinner experience -- enjoyed it!
My new favorite Mexican restaurant; too bad it's over an hour away...
NO plans to go back.I've had huevos rancheros across many towns in MO to southern TX, La Siesta was my least favorite.Bland.SERVICE was what disappointed me most.25 mins,3 Xs of POLITELY asking just to get a glass of water. There were only 3 tables, counting ours when we arrived around 2:30 pm on a saturday.Saw at least 3 staff walking around. Each of the other 2 tables had 2 patrons each, ours had 4.Waiter started to take our drink orders, then walked away suddenly.Returned after 10 mins,so we'd sat there 15/20 mins w/nothing.Also restaurant added limitations to Groupon that weren't in the initial deal.Tequila Mex. didn't do that with their groupon. Will continue going to Tequila Mexican.
We will definately be back!
From Our Editors
At La Siesta, diners bathe in natural sunlight as brothers Francisco and Benjamin Guillen craft specialty soups, fajitas, and quesadillas made from traditional and ancient Mexican recipes. Each specialty dish on the menu is shaped by the restaurateurs’ expertise, which was born in their central highlands home of Guanajuato. Dishes include the Chiles en Nogada dinner and Aztec tortilla soup.
