The owner was hospitable! He made sure to walk s through the menu, answered any question, and made sure he gave us his pride and joy - quality food! The beef brisket sandwich is a MUST TRY!
The food was great and the staff was courteous and helpful. We will visit again when in the area.
Great place for a quick bite, very friendly
Amazing service but food wasn’t that great, especially for the price! After spending $18 and change for 3 poly to eat, we were all still pretty hungry afterwards and one of the ppl was a child.
They tried, nobody else there...that was my 1st clue. Hot dogs and food was cold, not with prices or groupon. Had to buy 3 vouchers, but can only use one at a time...and I don't live close...
Delicious BBQ, Nice people
Racist. Wouldn’t let my neighbor use their Groupon because we were in the same car!! Whoever heard of that. Different houses and purchasers. Never going back. Food half a!! As well
Food is amazing and so is the service
The chilli and slaw on the hot dogs was great! I wish the dogs had a beefier flavor. They taste similar to boiled hot dogs. Overall, a very good experience.
Awesome food; fast service!
From Our Editors
Charlie Graingers elevates the classic hot dog with fresh ingredients, housemade toppings, and creative flavor combos. Take, for instance, the Lou's Way dog—smothered in housemade pimento cheese, chili, and Jamaican relish. The Stetson is equally overstuffed, topped with melted cheese, mayo, and crunchy fried potato stix.
The hot-dog inspiration came from the menu at Peacock Alley restaurant, a North Carolina staple that first opened in 1939. Louis North opened his own restaurant on that same historic spot in 2012, and he named the new venture after Peacock Alley's owner: Charlie Graingers. But Louis's brisket was well-known in its own right, so he added barbecue to the classic Americana lineup. Hungry customers can order the brisket-topped John Lee Hooker dog to enjoy both specialties at once.
