For the money I paid (including insurance), should have allowed 6 laps instead of 3 for such a small course. Didn't seem like we got our money's worth.
Not worth the money in my opinion. They need to allow the drivers to choose auto or manual. Wish the road course had more straightway as well to allow the car to get up to speed. Disappointed!
The process once there went very quickly and smoothly and everyone was professional and friendly.
Not worth the money. More than an hour drive to the location for a 70-75 second drive. With what they add on for insurance, we'll just rent the car outright next time.
The promotion was misleading. They held it at the Atlanta speedway and made you think that you would be driving on the race track, but actually you are driving in the parking lot around cones. Very disappointing!!!
It was a complete rip-off. They claimed high-speed driving experience but the max speed achieved was between 60-70 miles. Georgia highways allow you that speed without breaking any laws. The ride itself was very short as they did not have a wide area covered. The only experience you can claim is that you got to to sit and drive a lamborghini or ferrari. If I was boy going to lose the money spent on groupon, I would've walked away even without riding the car, as my goal was to drive the car in speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour not just sit in one. Will do more research next time before spending this much $ on something.
When I read the details of the Groupon and saw that it was at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, I did assume that it would be on the main track, so it was a little disappointing to see it was actually in the parking lot. I understand why it was done that way, and my uncle still absolutely loved the experience, but I would suggest a better description of the setup or "3 laps."
It was a lot to pay for a short thrill ride. I'm not sure it was worth the cost and 45 minute drive
