Although the owner undoubtedly hopes you'll sigh "pinch me" to your dining companions upon seeing your food, Pinch Me Gastrobar & Market is actually named for the Spanish pintxos concept. These skewered bar bites—such as grilled shrimp or sliders with sautéed mushrooms—are nabbed by diners as they socialize over sangria. Here, alongside tablas of cheese and charcuterie, they're a delicious accompaniment to happy hour or an appetizing way to start off a meal.
At dinner, the butcher-block tables are laden with entrees like eggplant au gratin, chicken marsala, sesame seared tuna and seafood pasta. Lunch features salads and paninis, and brunch has ricotta pancakes and smoked-salmon benedict.
