Even at the very beginning in 1973, Lake Norman Marina placed a premium on customer satisfaction. While this emphasis began with its founders, Griffin "Dip" Kale and his wife, Elsie, their genuine concern for customers proved contagious, as it soon spread, becoming a pillar of the company and its reputation. Now, with the Kales' children and grandchildren running the marine dealership, its reputation for providing excellent customer service has cultivated a staff dedicated to upholding the founders' principles.
At the marina in Sherrills Ford, experienced employees help customers buy, sell, and rent boats and pontoons. They also work to maintain the top-notch facilities, where customers can dock for the weekend, stop off to get their boat serviced, or seek dry storage during winter months. And since many of them truly live and breathe the world of boating, they're also on hand to chat with customers and share some of their knowledge as boating professionals.
