"Run like you're being chased." That's the slogan of the Indian Mud Run, a 5K that sends participants scrambling through a course filled with more than 30 obstacles and many, many mud pits. Runners contend with rushing streams, natural rock walls—not to mention an array of slides, nets, and even fire jumps. But despite the sound of creaking joints and furiously screaming muscles, consciences will feel pretty good about themselves after the race. That's because each year's race benefits the Coshocton County Park District and the Friends of the Park.
