It was a fun trip, albeit a bit rough. I should have done my homework, as I was surprised that the boats that were used were much smaller than ones I'd been on in previous whale watching trips by other companies. That being said, the smaller boats got you closer to the action and were certainly more thrilling. The Capt and the asst were fun and knowledgeable and the boat was well maintained.

Friendly, knowledgeable, marine life lovers and researchers. This is the only place I would spend my money to watch whales because they have the utmost respect for the whales and ocean life in general. Thank you!

Don't wait to go out whale watching! Go as often as you can because you never know what the whales will do or what other wildlife you might see!

If you really want to see whales the best time would be to go during the summer months when certain whales hang out in the cove. If you go any other time make sure the surf is flat otherwise you will just be riding the waves in search of whales blowing air as they quickly swim buy but don't breach. The boats and museum were awesome. Just set your expectations and enjoy the ride.

Awesome tour! Our guide, Captain Dan, was hilarious and we had a lot of fun and saw more whales than I thought we would (around 7?). Unfortunately the first time we tried to go the water was too choppy, but we made backup plans to go to the Newport aquarium and do some other activities. Luckily the weather cooperated on our second attempt!

It was fantastic! Cap Dan was entertaining and knowledgeable about the hump back whales. We saw a total of three different whales up close and how to tell the difference between them. It was a great experience for the whole family to enjoy and a great thing to do to learn more about the nature of the hump back whales and ocean life around them

This is a learning adventure, not just a boat ride! Carrie Newell is an experienced marine scientist who is passionate about her research on whales in the Pacific. You will learn interesting facts, and have a great time, too. Captain Dan was also charming and personable!
