From Our Editors
Dirty Dawgz's name describes its incoming clientele, but dogs can leave the boutique with a clean coat, trimmed fur, and a stash of healthy food. A waist-high self-serve tub allows owners to scrub dogs clean to their own specifications. While in the grooming area, veteran pet stylist Jessica Bannister treats pooches of all breeds to quick trims or breed-specific cuts. Dirty Dawgz's specialty shampoos include varieties such as oatmeal, baking soda, and whitening shampoo, which increases fur's sheen and helps distinguish between dalmatians' spots and coffee stains. The retail portion of the shop sends pooches home with bags of healthy eats, grooming brushes, and doggy colognes.
