JUST 4 LOOK manicure evaluation for Grouopon Language is a problem at Just 4 Look . It was hard to choose a color from the polish tray they shoved at me. They did not understand the word silver. They had a nice massage feature in the chairs--and I tried 3 times to get them to start it. I saw a control for the massaging feature of the chair. I have used it in other salons, so I asked if they could turn it on. Either no one understood or no one knew how to use it. The pedicure person kept asking how long it was since my last pedicure and made fun of me for waiting so long. I asked for a pillow because I am short and the seat was so far back, I could not comfortably rest my feet on the ledge of the pedicure chair. I put the pillow behind my lower back. The manicurist quickly pulled it away so she could use it when polishing my fingers. But since there was no one else there, why couldn’t I use one of the other pillows? The water for the pedicure was ice-cold. I asked if the water could be warmer. She then turned the water so hot it could have boiled eggs. When I politely asked for it to be cooler, she acted like i was being difficult. If you can't find a comfortable temperature for your client, maybe you need a different career. I would have loved a magazine to read while I was waiting for the polish to dry. They had rushed me into the pedicure room so quickly, that I had not noticed the magazine rack behind the front door. But wouldn't it be nice if they offered you a magazine to read. Or asked you if the water is the right temperature? i think of a manicure and pedicure as being pampered indulgences. Not like a trip to the dentist where you are not surprised if there is a little discomfort. The pedicure person cut my skin while trimming my nails. I toke a picture of it when I got home. She asked me if you she had hurt me—she must have seen that she did. It would have been nice to offer some hydrogen peroxide- but perhaps she thought it was an admission of guilt The pedicure person upsold me THREE times to have a dead skin scrub on my soles, to have a cream lotion applied to my legs, and then hot towels across my legs. Aren't these things usually included with a pedicure? They have been in my past experiences. When she asked if i wanted the hot towels on my legs, and I did not encourage her she said, "you are already paying $10 for the extra treatments, so this would only be five dollars more.” Pedicure person finally turned on the massage chair while I was waiting for polish to dry. I think she realized it was time for me to tip. I tipped 20% of the usual bill. I paid cash. The pedicure person then called the manicurist. She told me to give the manicurist a 20%tip, too. They did not deserve a tip at all. So I certainly was not going to tip 40% of the usual bill. (and I had paid the $15 up charges on the pedicure. My groupon certificate was $45.The up charges made it $60 and I gave a $15 tip. It was a painfully unpleasant experience and not a good value.

The ladies who did mine in my daughter's nails did a great job. However, the man who did my daughters toes did not do very good job at all. He took half the time that the man who was doing my feet did. Later when we got in the car I was looking at my daughters toes and noticed that they were messed up in several places and he did not paint the entire nail on several nails.

The "spa" pedicure was essentially a foot soak with a polish. They offered a citrus scrub which burned my skin and charged me $5 extra for it after the fact. I will not be returning.

Pedicure was too rough and did not follow my instructions on the shape I needed my nails to be. I had the gel manicure and it was good. The technician took time and listened to what I asked for. Pedicures lack the relaxation time I am use to.
