Francisco “Toco” Albuquerque is a Carlson Gracie Sr. 5th degree black belt with over 30 years dedicated to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is the founder of the prestigious Nova Geração Jiu-Jitsu team. Since 1992, from his gym in Leblon, a famous neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil he has produced some of the best grappling talents in the world, also using BJJ in the benefit of the Brazilian community with very lively social projects. With more than one hundred black belts formed by his hand, Nova Geração is the largest and most recognized academy in Brazil with branches in Mexico, United States, United Kingdom, and Europe.
