At JaJora Olive Oil Company, it’s not unusual to sample an olive oil whose olives were plucked from the vine recently. It’s a sign of JaJora’s mission to infuse local meals and pantries with only the highest quality gourmet oils and vinegars. The store’s oil experts source extra-virgin olive oils and ship in balsamic vinegars from Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, the birthplace of balsamic vinegar. Oils and vinegars are then stored in stainless-steel fustis and bottled to order.
At the oil-and-vinegar bar, customers can savor tastings of more than 45 varieties of organic, herb-infused, and fruit-infused extra-virgin oils and vinegars. In addition to offering samples, staff members are also happy to suggest flavor pairings and recipes. Additionally, they can direct customers toward their other gourmet foods, such as chutneys and tapenades, as well as olive-oil-based beauty products.
