Located in the former home of Solomon D. Spady, the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum not only highlights the contributions of African American leaders in Delray Beach, but also celebrates the history of black communities all over Florida. The home of the longtime educator serves as a base for an active network of volunteers dedicated to community outreach through guest lecture series, tours, and annual celebrations.
- The Building: The two-story Mission-style house is modest, but the original furnishings and the artifacts on display keep visitors lingering.
- While You're in the Neighborhood: Hop aboard one of the museum's popular trolley tours, which chronicle prominent figures and locations in Delray Beach on a ride through its five historic districts.
