Yummy food -- great fries!

The food was pretty good but the service was really slow - not overly the waitresses fault just that she was alone during the dinner rush.

small portions

There was only one server on doing everything. Took forever to get anything. Server was stressed, no smiles or time to quality check. Food was cold. Do worth the money to have an extra staff member on for the rush.

Too expensive. Ordered fish tacos and fish and chips-- the fish was burned. Also my daughter ordered Thai noodle salad --- chicken overcooked and dry, it was gross. We feel the portions were small because it was groupon.

Friendly wait staff and ownership. Good food. Would go back for sure.

About this Business

There are few things that make a community feel as close-knit as a local watering hole, a place you can swing by for a drink and a chat or settle in for a lengthy dinner. Uptown Eatery & Bar strives to be that spot for Tsawwassen, serving up food, drinks, and service with the refreshing ease of a Boundary Bay beach breeze.

  • Food: It's a casual, comforting menu with global influences. Guests chow down on delicious burgers, a fine selection of tacos, or fried chicken and waffles straight out the American South. There's veggie-inspired delights, mini yorkshire puddings, and pulled-pork sandwiches.

  • Drinks: The bar's taps dispense local craft drafts and the perennially popular PBR and Guinness. The fridges are stocked with local ciders and craft bottled beers. And the bartenders specialize in mixing martinis, among other cocktails.

  • Music: Uptown Eatery's record player is almost constantly spinning vinyl from an extensive selections that visitors are welcome to peruse. The restaurant also hosts local musicians and touring artists for live performances, especially on Wednesdays.
