Had the salmon burger - tasty, but not a lot of "fillings" in the bun. Portions are not too big for the price i.e. salad. They should also serve milk as a beverage, especially when they have a kid's menu. Not too many kids like hot chocolate with their meal.

Disappointing breakfast. My sandwich was very heavy and quite bland. My husband ordered hash with lots of meat, and specifically requested bacon crispy. When it came there was more warm chewy fat than meat. Must say that the burgers looked good though. May try lunch one day.

Even though we went on a weekday they were busy. I wouldn't suggest a weekend as Im sure it would be very busy. The food was okay. I had to add a few things to it when we came home, which was disappointing.

I ordered Pad Thai, abeef hamburger, and calimari on 2 visits... the Pad Thai was not even close to real Pad Thai -did you use tamarind? And were those spaghetti noodles you used instead of rice noodles??? seriously -that'just disappointing. The calimari was not light and crisp at all. And i'going to guess the beef burger was a frozen burger... am I wrong? Your location is great... please improve the recipes and hire a new head cook. Thanks for listening. Lon S

Noodle boxes were great!

They were out of halibut ànd the batter on the cod we got was very oily and crumbly(not like batter on "fish" and chips" should be).

The fish tacos were tiny, not worth the $8 ended up throwing them out. Yam fries were cold. PadThai was just a box of noodles, very thin noodles not rice noodles normally used for PadThai and no flavour.Very disappointed, this place has gone downhill

The fish and chips were great. Too bad they did not have any halibut.

About this Business

From its outpost on Boundary Bay, Centennial Beach Cafe dazzles multiple senses with a menu of flavourful beach cuisine and panoramic views of the Boundary Bay Regional Park. The kitchen serves up seasonal catch for platters of fish and chips. For breakfast, they layer green-eggs-and-ham sandwiches with pea greens and black-forest ham and toss hash browns with a variety of ingredients, from pesto and shrimp to grilled chicken and roasted corn. Guests enjoy the café's savoury bites for early-morning sustenance while scanning the skies for eagles and other wildlife along the Pacific Coastal Flyway. In warm weather, they can sit under green umbrellas on the patio or visit the adjacent playground, and in inclement conditions, they can play games of tic-tac-toe by breathing on the restaurant's wraparound windows.
