I went there recently for lunch because of my groupon and while the location is beautiful, the food was just ok. My sister had the noodle pad Thai which hardly resembled a pad Thai, very bland, plain, hardly any sauce on the noodles, a disappointment. I had the fish tacos and crab cake, the fish batter was too thick for my liking and too greasy, the salsa fresca was barely there, and the cole slaw was really on the soggy side, which is too bad as I love cole slaw and the coleslaw was served in the taco and on the side of the crab cake, the crab cake and mango salsa was delicious though, I really enjoyed that order. In all, the food was ok, nothing to rave about, but I'll give it another shot

Great location; nice park for kids; a bit pricey if you're not using groupon.

Call ahead, they appear to be very flexible with their hours and may stay open as long as they are busy.

About this Business

From its outpost on Boundary Bay, Centennial Beach Cafe dazzles multiple senses with a menu of flavourful beach cuisine and panoramic views of the Boundary Bay Regional Park. The kitchen serves up seasonal catch for platters of fish and chips. For breakfast, they layer green-eggs-and-ham sandwiches with pea greens and black-forest ham and toss hash browns with a variety of ingredients, from pesto and shrimp to grilled chicken and roasted corn. Guests enjoy the café's savoury bites for early-morning sustenance while scanning the skies for eagles and other wildlife along the Pacific Coastal Flyway. In warm weather, they can sit under green umbrellas on the patio or visit the adjacent playground, and in inclement conditions, they can play games of tic-tac-toe by breathing on the restaurant's wraparound windows.
