Great location most tables are outside, right on the beach so can be a little cooler than you might expect. Fun to grab some fish and chips or pad Thai and sit on the beach.

Fish tacos are great and a basket of fries goes a long way!

I didn't really think the food was anything special. The latte was the worst I've had. I didn't like the salad dressing and the brie was in strips in the salad which is very hard to eat without cutting it all up. Not so good...Clean though, and pleasant enough employees.

Good food & beautiful ocean view. Love the new, modern architecture of the building & new upcoming picnic gazebos to match the whole look of CB.

Excellent service & food. A little drafty when the wind kept the door open, but will definitely come again

I thought it would have more inside seating.

Dry bread on the breakfest sandwiches & fish and chips with all batter and no fish. Great coffee & hash browns.

awesome location on the beach and loved the nice light batter on the fish.

Just wasn't very eatable - fish was very overcooked (the batter was cooked so long the colour was a dark, chocolate brown and very hard to cut through with plastic fork and knife), plastic utensils not the best, coffee hot but not very good. Everything was so take-out from the food, to the decor, to the service. Washrooms were around the corner. Just not my idea of a cafe. The view was fantastic.

About this Business

From its outpost on Boundary Bay, Centennial Beach Cafe dazzles multiple senses with a menu of flavourful beach cuisine and panoramic views of the Boundary Bay Regional Park. The kitchen serves up seasonal catch for platters of fish and chips. For breakfast, they layer green-eggs-and-ham sandwiches with pea greens and black-forest ham and toss hash browns with a variety of ingredients, from pesto and shrimp to grilled chicken and roasted corn. Guests enjoy the café's savoury bites for early-morning sustenance while scanning the skies for eagles and other wildlife along the Pacific Coastal Flyway. In warm weather, they can sit under green umbrellas on the patio or visit the adjacent playground, and in inclement conditions, they can play games of tic-tac-toe by breathing on the restaurant's wraparound windows.
