Pete Dye, the course designer of The Windermere Club, believes a good golfing experience revolves around memorable holes. Windermere's par-72 course was designed with this in mind as it sports several unique holes with changing elevation levels each lined by the area's hardwood forests and lakes. The first hole, for instance, kicks the round off right with a slight dogleg left featuring a stream running along the fairway and ending just in front of the green. The par three on hole 13, meanwhile, presents an interesting challenge as a gaping bunker swallows up anything hit right in front of the green.
