I love that it is not typical Mexican food slopped on a plate. Thank you for beautiful food and terra cot plates
The chili relleno was fantastic!!! not breaded or fried and stuffed with the most delicious carne! The service was great and they were so kind and attentive. Such a great place.
Friendly service and very unique menu...different than the typical Tex-Mex fare you find at most Mexican restaurants
A little more than I like to spend for lunch.
The service was horrible!! People had to go up to the bar to get their own drinks because no servers were around to take orders. They need more staff!!! And the staff they have needs to be more attentive. When they finally came to take our order we had to follow up with them because our food never came out. I can't imagine this place will stay in business with service like this.
Very good food and service! Pleasantly surprised
your people are nice...food-no start over with a new chef
Thank you for bringing authentic Mexican food and great dishes! Excellent service also!

Low-key Mexican fare at its best is found at El Olvido in Denver's Rosedale neighborhood. Plan to indulge a bit at El Olvido, though, because they don't offer any low-fat fare. Take a peek at the drink menu here, and make sure to sample something off the list. The whole family can enjoy a meal at El Olvido with its kid-friendly fare. For some fresh air during the non-winter months, dine outside on El Olvido's patio. Need room for one more? Add another to your party — El Olvido is great for large groups.
El Olvido tosses the jacket-and-tie dress code convention in favor of a more casual dining experience.
Drivers can park in the neighboring lot.
Prices at El Olvido are moderate — most diners plunk down about $30 per meal. El Olvido accepts all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served at the restaurant, but the dinner menu is the real standout.
