I would highly recommend Sita Thomas for deep tissue. She is amazing!
I cannot recommend Brenyn highly enough. He is trained in virtually every form of bodywork, including acupuncture, which are even more powerful when combined. But perhaps what I enjoy most about working with him is how he empowers clients to take an active role in their treatment creating a teamwork approach rather than simply viewing him as the expert. That being said, I have extensive experience in working with practitioners over the past 15 years and I am blown away by both the extent of his training, but perhaps more importantly the manner in which he interacts with his clients. This enables him to address virtually every healthcare need one may have.
Very nice and would come back
I booked my 90 minute massage. When I arrived, I was sent back to the massage room. It was not very quiet in there as you could hear people at the front desk. Music was not very relaxing. Person doing the massage didn't seem very into it. Seemed like she was just going through the motions...not much interaction. When I was leaving, the receptionist told me I owed $10 more because I booked a more experienced person. I was never told this when I booked it or when I arrived. Not very professional if you want repeat business.
Letta was great I will be back and schedule with her again! Her attention to the details of my comfort and relaxation was awesome. And she seemed to know my back like I'd been to her for years. Thank you!
Service are way Too expensive. parking is horrible and the area is very busy on Broadway. I would no return.
Carrie gave a great massage!
Absolutely fantastic massages!
While it may be common at Massage Specialists (while performing acupuncture) to ask questions regarding bowel movements. For the first time visitor this would probably be something best avoided. I found being asked the question unsettling and uncomfortable. The therapist talked through out the 1 hour session, and I left feeling not rested at all. I probably will not be returning for any future acupuncture sessions.
Appreciate the experience and professionslism of the therapists over silly extras that other massage places try to offer
From Our Editors
To secure its position as the best massage clinic of 2010, Massage Specialist presented Boulder Weekly with a suite of services that went beyond the basics. The clinic's therapists practice more than 10 massage styles including classic modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, and sports) as well as uncommon therapies (e.g., manual lymphatic drainage, infant massage, and shiatsu). Most treatments incorporate the clinic's signature water-dispersible oils and lotions that do not stain clothing but may dissolve witches. They prep for appointments by draping treatment beds with fresh, clean linens, and educating guests on therapies that suit their personal ailments. Aside from massage therapy, the clinic offers spinal adjustments, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and herbal consultations.
