first of all they make it seem like there meat is so expensive, but ironically it is always on some AMAZING discount (always on groupon, plus more sales in the store). which to me means they are over pricing it and then making it look like you're getting a killer savings. secondly, the meat isnt organic, grass fed, non-GMO, nothing like that, so how can it be so expensive? finally you will get the tiniest portions in a box, once i bought a box of chicken breasts that litterally looked like the cut one chicken breast into 5 servings.
