Whatever Pops Up founder Elizabeth Zimmerman knew she wanted to open her own culinary business, but she couldn't decide on what to offer. After nixing frozen yogurt and cupcake shops, Elizabeth had an epiphany about the versatility of popcorn—while chowing down on a bag of caramel corn. She spent the next 18 months brainstorming flavor combos, and now offers more than 20 sweet and savory options at her shop. Her creative flavors include pecan maple, habanero lime, cinnamon bun, and #18—a buffalo and blue cheese combo named for her favorite local quarterback.
