Chicago Style Bar and Grill made a bit of a journey before finding a home. No, the eatery didn't travel more than 330 miles from the Windy City. Chicago Style Bar and Grill started as a food truck, weaving its way along Des Moines's streets until it grew popular enough to settle down with a brick-and-mortar restaurant. Here, the staff offers tastes from the big city but with the environment of a small town. Diners can dig into Chicago classics like an italian beef and—you guessed it—a Chicago-style hot dog. But they can also indulge in other comfort foods like philly cheesesteaks, chili cheese fries, steak burritos, and fried chicken. All of this can be paired with a cold brew and enjoyed while playing a game of pool or darts.
