Even though Chef D closes his pizza restaurant every Monday, he doesn't just take the day off. Rather, he spends it serving hot pies and sandwiches to the city's homeless and under-served. Every other day of the week, he serves his casual Italian-American food?which includes authentic Coney Island hot dogs and sausage, pepperoni, and veggie pizzas?to the general public. Almost everything on the menu is available with Chef D's signature "Everything" sauce. Originally devised in 1995, the sauce blends tomato, cheese, and spices into a dip- or spread-friendly condiment. In addition to delivery, the restaurant also provides onsite dining in two rooms filled with large-screen TVs.
