Not sure what the VIP ticket was for, had to stand in same line as non VIP ticket holders to get in.

Rude gate entry staff, no signs firectibgvto VIP line, was in the wrong line 3 times, had to start over. Free for all by other already drunk patrons. None of the staff knew what VIP tickets entitled you to. Was kicked out of side areas that were apparently rented for private parties that were not marked as such. Once again. Ok r to answer questions or direct you. Only one big screen to see game on the stage but the bands, DJ and crowds dancing were in the way. No other areas to view.

I paid for VIP and they lied about us having our own area. Nothing different from General besides coming in and out the tent. Nothing like last year.

We got there at 2:30 and they were nearly "out of everything" (their words). I tried to order a vodka and soda but they were out of soda. Also out of sprite. With a 1/2 day left to go, it was a little disappointing.

The staff, entertainment, bars and food stands were great. The only thing I didn't understand was that the general addmission line moved much faster than the VIP line when entering the party.

A DJ, lots of vendors with overpriced stuff, VIP passes were treated no different than general admission. In fact, the general admission people got on quicker and more efficiently than the VIP's did. This is the second time I've been to this party, and I will not be going back. Not worth the 40 bucks per ticket! I would recommend the free party at Campus Marcus park put on by 97.1 the ticket. Live band, fun freebies and a better atmosphere.

The party was so much fun..the band/music was a blast to dance to, the food was good, and the bar was good even though I only had one drink. A great time, and I WILL go back again next year!

From Our Editors

For at least one day a year, everyone wants to be Irish. The day in question, of course, is St. Patrick's Day, which Detroit's Corktown celebrates in style with the aptly named Corktown Paddy's Parade Party. Visitors can enjoy the traditional St. Patrick's Day parade and then really get the party started with help from live DJs and a crowd of revelers. The Fest features a heated indoor party tent as well as an outdoor space; Irish beers and whiskeys flow freely in the former, while dancing happens pretty much wherever you want it to.
