Loved Cowabunga bay! It was Comfort Inn that was literally gross. Our bathroom wall paper was peeling, the sink leaked, mold on the wall. Dirt all over the doors. Pieces of ceiling on the floor. Hair and bug in coffee maker. When we checked in the clerk did not know how to print our pases for Cowabunga bay so she gave 3 half day passes that they had instead of our 4 all day passes. Should I go on???? What a waste of money for the hotel. Loved the water park though.

There should be a gate to go from the comfort inn to cowabunga instead of having to walk all the way around. The comfort inn guest services wasn't very friendly. Maybe I just caught him at a bad time. He didn't know when I could use the cowabunga passes the day I checked in or the next day. He didn't know what time the park closed.

It took quite a few emails to confirm how to redeem our Groupon. However, the hotel room was nice (and super close) and we had a wonderful time at Cowabunga Bay!

We booked are hotel stay and when we got there cowabunga bay was closed both days because there was a chance of rain. On their website it said they were supposed to be open. We were very mad that we went all the way down there for nothing. We had very mad kids.

Cowabunga Bay was lots of fun, though I really don't like their "no outside food" policy. I have children with special dietary needs (gluten free) and that gets difficult. The hotel was all right, though it's clear that it's an older hotel in need of updating. One bedspread in our room had a burn hole on it. The carpet is worn and needs to be restretched in both the hallways and our room. When I called to make the reservation, the person who answered the phone said "I can't do that. You email him." and hung up! Then the email exchange with the manager was brusque and short, with not a lot of information provided. It was a great deal, but without it, I would not choose to stay in the hotel again.

The inside of the comfort inn was clean and the staff friendly. The outside areas of the comfort in and the area between the 2 business' could use some tidying up.

Had not stayed at this Comfort Inn previously, and there was an issue with one smoking room in the hotel affecting several rooms. We had to change rooms three times in order to find one that didn't reek of smoke. Not a good idea to have this kind of problem in order to keep one smoking room available. Otherwise, hotel was fine. Cowabunga was great as always!

When we got to Comfort Inn and asked to get our Cowabunga Bay tickets the lady at the counter didn't have ours and their computers were down so she had no record of us even coming. Then after our fun filled day at Cowabunga Bay we went to check in and they gave us the key to the wrong room so we walked in to see a bunch of luggage belonging to someone else. When we got our room finally straightened out we took a shower and I went to used towel only to be covered in someone else's hair. It was knd of gross but I guess we got what we paid for. Other than those incidences we enjoyed our stay.
