Ritas has been out of business for a while and I went to find them and use my 4-5 coupons and they were already out of business. How do I request a Refund for what I paid for the groupon

Ice cream itself is good but their services and the lady name is Arianna from Sandy, Utah location, not very friendly and it made their customer service not great at all. She was rude to us and our kids. Wish they would have a better customer service. We won't take our kids there anymore.

Employees need training in customer service! I had two coupons remaining when I discovered they would expire. When I tried to use them on two separate orders, the would not accept the coupon as they had to be used of 'separate visits'. Although technically correct, anyone with any common sense would honor the coupon. I spent over $30 in the past month where I did not use a group on at this location and due to the denial of my coupon, I will not be returning. Perhaps the owner should do a little training for his/her 16-year-old employees. I'm sorry that I won't be returning to Rita's.

They tried everything to get out of taking the Groupon. Telling me restrictions that weren't listed on the Groupon, and when I questioned they said "it's not listed but it's our store policy". If they don't want to take them, don't sell them, but don't try to get out of it later. They finally did take it but I will not be going back.

From Our Editors

Contrary to its name, Rita’s is more than just Italian ice – it’s creamy frozen custard, mouth-watering milkshakes, custom sundaes with endless topping combinations, and the signature gelati. This cool treat consists of a layer of creamy frozen custard, topped with freshly made Italian ice, and then topped with a dollop of even creamier frozen custard. The gelati, along with a construction team that demands to be paid in sprinkles, has helped Rita's expand to more than 600 Italian ice stores in the United States over nearly three decades. The franchise has become so popular that it even made the top of Zagat's list of Best Quick Refreshment chains in 2012.

But the expansion would mean nothing if the desserts themselves weren't delicious. Thankfully, Rita's carries a variety of flavors, which are made fresh daily and run the gamut from mango, to mint chocolate chip, to cotton candy. The shops also serve frozen custard, cream ice, milkshakes, sundaes, and other tasty frozen concoctions—each waiting to be piled with limitless toppings. To keep taste buds tempted, Rita's consistently adds inventive and seasonal flavors to their menu. Among these are chocolate covered strawberry cream ice, strawberry watermelon Italian ice, and sugar free dragonfruit.
