Good good and lots of fun. Wish there were more performances towards the late afternoon for people who can't be there all day. And I wish the Sutadon stand would stop selling out.

Enjoyed all the cultural info given. The entertainment was good the puppetry was cool. The kids singing, the archery demo was good. But they should have had more doors open to let people in there was only 1 door open for people that had tickets we waited 30 minutes to get in. There was no signs stating where to go if you had Groupon vouchers, need to buy tickets so I waited in the wrong line for 30 minutes. The food was good also liked the find the answer sheet they gave to have to talk to several benders which was entertaining. Will go again next year.

Hello, the lines for entry was extremely long! With no visible signs until customers were in line. Only (1) person came out with an announcement about the no food policies. The no ticket line moved faster than the ticket line & when we ask a rep about having our tickets online. She still directed us too the wrong line. Please do better on Sun & next year. In Jesus Christ Name, Ms. Joy

My experience at JapanFest was mostly positive, but it did get off to a pretty mediocre start. I wish I had known beforehand that 75% of the merchants, attractions, and even food vendors only accepted cash. There are ATMs on-site but of course they charge a fee that I'm sure most would rather spend on merchandise. Also the Groupon didn't act as a ticket so you still have to go to the longer line.

Attended solo but very fun. Anime people walking everywhere, food is delicious, and lots of walking for exercise.

The venue is perfect -- large enough for crowd energy, small enough to feel like an intimate show. Great opportunity to hear James Bay for the first time. XAmbassadors owned the show with their sheer talent and 'Let's Go' energy.Train brought it home as always. Fabulous line up, excellent show.

From Our Editors

Samurai sword fights, flavorful bento boxes, and bone-shaking taiko drumming. Once a year since 1981, JapanFest has brought food, art, culture, and airline peanuts from the Land of the Rising Sun to the American South. Organized by JapanFest, Inc. and supported by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Georgia (JCCG) and the Japan-America Society of Georgia (JASG), the celebration features attractions that range from the high-adrenaline—swordplay and archery demos—to the serene, such as workshops on Japanese etiquette and the mystique of sake. Between martial arts and sushi-making lessons, visitors can head to the food court for old-fashioned udon, yakitori, takoyaki, and curry rice.
