About
A Chat with Alli Murphy Photography

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? The very nature of this type of shoot can be very hard for some women, but as a female photographer, I understand the high need for comfortability. This one on one session gives the client time to get comfortable with the setting, and to get to know me, not only as the photographer, but personally.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? For me, a love for photography started at a young age. I have been behind the camera since the age of 16, and first began within the film medium. After 10 years, I opened my own 2000 sq. ft. photography studio that is designed specifically for boudoir!.
What do you love most about your job? I love the ability to show a persons true beauty and personality. Today, there is a stigma of "beauty" and I believe in going above and beyond to help people see past what they think beauty should be. Also, I love to meet new people and I feel that my clients become new friends!
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? I have been told by many of my boudoir models that they have considered doing a shoot of this nature many times, but never have felt comfortable until meeting me. There are many photographers out there, and being chosen because you make that person feel safe, is a great feeling.
