This is an itty-bitty little event that can be done in under four hours. The main attraction is an enormous Minecraft merchandise store, with stuff you can mostly get other places. Other attractions include: YouTubers you've likely never heard of; live build battles; Virtual Reality Minecraft (limited to 15 minutes, but you can get back in line); an Escape Room (we couldn't get in, the line was too long); a pile of Legos; some timed adventure maps hosted on PCs. The VIP ticket was super lame - a cheap cloth backpack, a badge, and am enormous line to get in because they oversold the event and didn't really have the concept of line control down. If this had been advertised as a half-day event, I'd be OK with it, but "The #1 Minecraft Event in the USA" is a gross oversell.
My daughter had a wonderful time, as for a parent it could've been a little more organized especially for the VIP holders. The waiting time on the lines seemed as if everyone purchased VIP pass.
Awesome! My son had the best time ever!
Great time had by all. My little girl was in heaven.
Some of the lines for meet and greet and virtual reality were ridiculous for little ones to wait in. Some games were really good - liked the Philly one a bit more last year
My daughter loved it, but I think the overall consensus from parents is that the experience isn't great Very few things for kids to do but wait in long lines to meet YouTubers. Even the line to buy merchandise was 20 minutes long. It has a ton of potential, but it's very poorly organized. All the VIP pass does is get you in earlier. The goodies bags have nothing in them but a lanyard. That's it.
Lots of fun, the lines went bad. Kids had an amazing time
Wonderful experience for my kids and myself!!!
Not enough for my kids to do. The highlight was meeting Ethan Gamer. Other than that, we wouldnt attend another fair
I think they needed characters from Minecraft walking around. Also, I’m not sure why they had star wars characters there 🤷🏻♀️ overall the kids had a great time!
