From Our Editors
Captain Lee has been an avid boater since he was 8 years old, spending his childhood in the 1950s zipping up and down the shores of Long Island. He eventually turned his hobby into a living while he worked as a clam digger and dredged the water for scallops.
Today, he shares his passion for the high seas at Hatteras Adventure, navigating the waters of the Pamlico Sound and tooling around Hatteras Island. He pilots the boat Daybreak II on fishing and clamming trips as well as on sunset boat tours and helps aspiring fisherman reel in flounders or snag clams on fishing adventures.
