In the 1930s, Wells Street Popcorn consisted of one man—he rode a popcorn cart down the cobblestone street and sold his family caramel corn recipe. Each sweet-and-salty bite proved so irresistible to customers that Wells Street Popcorn needed to grow.
Now 80 years later, Wells Street Popcorn boasts three locations but stays true to tradition. The popcorn makers still pop each kernel fresh so that customers can relish the delicious cheese, caramel, and buttery flavors. They sell the gluten-free popcorn in tubs, canisters, and team-spirited tins, and they keep their onsite kitchens free of peanuts and tree nuts.
