The culinary minds behind The Keg on Sixth know that beer and comfort food go together like peanut butter and a spoon. The eclectic menu bounces around the world, touching on shareable plates such as curried cauliflower and bacon-manchego croquettes with guava jam as well as hearty, handheld options such as a hearty kosher dog. Behind the bar, brews from Goose Island, Islamorada, and Left Hand Brewing flow throughout the evening.
The Keg on Sixth remade an industrial space in an out-of-the-way part of Fort Lauderdale, and its decor pays tribute to its past. The owners commissioned local street artists to spray the walls with technicolor graffiti murals, and corrugated metal lines the long bar. The casual feel continues outside with a couple of picnic tables on the sidewalk.
