From Our Editors

Treasure Cay is located on part of the eastern shore of Great Abaco, the largest islands in the northern Bahamas. Home to a weather-protected marina, the coastal community is a hub for island hopping, diving, and fishing activity. Canoeing nature tours with Abaco Gal Island Adventures explore the watery sinkholes that populate the island, some nearly 300 feet deep and filled with prehistoric fossils of extinct crocodiles, tortoises, and first-generation PlayStations. Commonly known as "blue holes," these flooded limestone caves are beautiful to look at but can be dangerous to swim in due to subterranean gases and narrow passageways. But there are plenty of more-inviting diving sites nearby, as the waters around the Abaco encompass the world's third-largest barrier reef.Read the Fine Print for important info on travel dates and other restrictions.
