They were out of cuban bread and it was only 1:15 (lunch time). Her excuse was that they were busy in the morning and she didn't think they needed more. The chocolate chip cookies tasted like a walmart cookie, not home baked and the desserts were very disappointing. Ambiance is horrible.

There was nothing special about the food. I think they need to use some special breads and sauces. The chic noodle soup wasn't bad but didn't look like anything but a pile of wide noodles.

parking only available in the ZIP Zones, or at the library. Great little hideaway, good food, beautiful single women and friendly conversation, what a way to enjoy your lunch break.

From Our Editors

At Wanna Bite Cafe, visitors can actually choose how many bites it is they wish to take. That's because the team—who amassed a following for their homemade sweets before opening the cafe—whip up a range different sized desserts to fit any appetite. These include tiny pies the size of a silver-dollar, three-inch pies, individual slices, and whole full-sized pies. The various size options for the desserts are great, but the flavors are the real star of the show here. Their signature sweet is a coconut-flan pie, which crams coconut cream, flan, and cheesecake into one dessert. After experiencing the pie's unique marriage of flavors and textures, Aubrie Gerber of The News-Press asked, "If that isn’t happy matrimony, then what is?"

It's not just about the sweets, though. The cafe also serves up a host of savories, many of which are inspired by the owners' Puerto Rican heritage. Cooks whip up everything from rye-swaddled reuben sandwiches to empanadas filled with chicken or beef.
