I have been an avid runner for 30 years and am approaching the wonderful age of 60. My running program has been one of the best things I have done for myself in my life. However, I have always thought that I really didn't have to do anything else as far as MY FITNESS PROGRAM was concerned. AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, Mad Dogg Athletics SPIN instructor. Susan Shirley is a long-time fitness enthusiast turned personal trainer and nutrition coach. Having struggled with her weight through her childhood and adolescence, she understands the inner conflict that comes with being overweight and having poor nutrition. She worked her way into shape and after developing a passion for SPINNING®, decided to get certified and taught indoor cycling in the local area. She decided to take her pursuit a step further and became an AFAA certified personal trainer. Susan also hosts monthly nutrition meetings where clients can learn new tips to lose weight, share recipes, and ask questions. Clients are invited to bring friends and family members to these sessions because good nutrition starts at home and why wouldn't we want our loved ones to follow suit?
