Horrible experience getting a massage by Valerie. All I can say that is that Valerie is not at all concerned with customer service. I consider our family very laid back and we rarely complain even when we get bad service somewhere. However, Valerie made an effort to difficult and was smiling as she did it. My husband and I both bought a coupon for a massage. He made an appointment for Friday but woke up with a fever. Luckily, I had a voucher too so we didn't have to call and cancel. I showed up in my husbands slot. Valerie showed the worst customer service I have seen from an adult. She would not allow me to fill his spot.... not b/c it was against any Groupon rule, b/c it wasn't, but she just didn't want to do it. During that whole ordeal she had written down my Groupon Voucher Number too (she already had my husbands on file from when he scheduled the appointment). Not only did she send me away saying "this is just my decision" but she ran my voucher and cashed it in as if she had given me a massage. I got the email asking me to survey her on my way home and that is how I knew. All I can figure out is that she was looking for a way to get paid without having to give a massage. That is all I can figure out...nothing else makes since?? Who wants to be mean just to be mean? Stay far away from Valerie if you a looking for a relaxing get away. It turned out to be the exact opposite for us. Apparently, the salon where she works has been getting lots of complaints! The salon workers and customers next to us were in very obvious "awe" as they overheard Valerie making a fool of herself and trying to make the horrible customer service she was giving sound like it was somehow logical and reasonable. Nobody in that room was fooled but Valerie herself. Groupon was great and gave us our money back in full for both me and my husband.
