At locations across the U.S., Baby Boot Camp is making it easier for moms to take care of themselves without sacrificing quality time with their little ones. The program was founded by personal trainer and triathlete Kristin Horler, who, after giving birth to her first child, found it challenging to get back into a workout routine without a baby sitter, personal trainer, or costly gym membership. Her solution: develop a fitness program that treats motherhood as an asset, rather than a hindrance to, getting back into shape. Now, in Baby Boot Camp classes, strollers actually become valuable tools in the fight against flab as moms perform cardio drills and strength training routines (Strollfit) or use the stroller to better perform modified yoga poses (Strollga). Not only will they get back into shape, they'll also gain the support of other fitness-minded moms, and, best of all, they can do it all while their kids watch, nap, or yell motivating Rocky quotes by their side.
