We wnr for lunch on Dec 31st. We had been there previoulsy for lunch and dinner and it was ok, Not my favorite, but ok. I ordered beef and my husband ordered chicken fajotas with borracho beans. My husbands borracho beans were ranch style beans in a cup. My boracho beans were refried ranch style beans. My husbands chicken fajitas were good. My beef faijtas were not good at all. The meat was very chewy, There was a large obvious piece of grissle that was served to me to eat. I highly doubt we willbe going to Cabo Grande again.

Don't know what the deal was with my waiter - I went for lunch ordered 1/2 order of beef nachos, I got chicken nachos. I brought it to his attention - he was going to change I said no just bring me some pieces of beef. I also ordered a barbacoa chimi - which he recommended over the burrito. Well, I got the burrito (definitely not fried). I would have brought this to his attention if he had bothered to stop back and ask how my food was. The food/salsa is great. My regrets are leaving him as much of a tip as I did (but it was New Years Eve) and not talking to his manager. Won't be back.

Chips, hot sauce and queso were good. Food was ok. A friend had a margarita and it was not good at all. Service was terrible! Plan to be there a very long time.

Chips, hot sauce and queso were good. Food was just ok. A friend had a margarita and it was not good at all. Service was terrible!! We usually eat here for our annual Christmas outing with extended family. Think we will make a new plan for next year.

From Our Editors

From weekend brunch to dinner, Cabo Grande’s kitchen bustles with chefs grilling, sautéing, and frying up authentic Tex-Mex and South American dishes. The culinary crew forges each dish using traditional recipes and ingredients such as alligator, fresh pico de gallo, and freshly baked bread.

Once the finishing touches have been put on each plate, servers deliver meals to patrons amid the dining room’s cheery yellow walls and its glowing, wavelike ceiling. Guests can surf the net by hooking up to the restaurant’s WiFi as they watch in awe as servers sidle up to tables to whip up fresh batches of guacamole. Behind the bar, mixologists sling libations that range from handcrafted martinis and margaritas to decadent coffee-based drinks.
