The only thing better than cycling around the city on a sunny day is not needing to pedal. That's exactly what Cowtown Electric Bikes offers with its fleet of electric bikes. Riders can pedal for a while before taking a break or soar down hills before engaging the electric assist with a twist of the wrist for the next incline.
While on these bikes, groups explore the city on one of three guided tours. The Downtown tour stops at the major sights, including the Water Gardens and Sundance Square Plaza, while another takes a journey through the historic Fort Worth Stockyards to spot a real cattle drive—made of famed Texas Longhorns—in action. For riders who prefer a stop to refuel, the Bike-n-Barbecue tour includes a ride along the riverside Trinity Trails and lunch at a barbecue restaurant.
Cowtown Electric Bikes also operates the Cowtown Cycle Party, a rollicking city tour and bar crawl powered by pedaling. On board a trolley, 8–16 revelers use their feet to get moving toward their planned stops within a two-hour window, which can include Fort Worth sights, cultural points of interest, and bars. The hands-free mode of transportation allows them to sip BYO drinks along the way.
