The location is nice and the building itself was well appointed, BUT, the establishment appears to be a "one man--or maybe two man at the most! show" The restaurant is small, and there was one man who seated us, took our order, (and maybe even cooked the food--I don't know!) because it was SO SLOW--and on top of that, he wasn't even friendly to us, AT ALL--conversely, we felt like we were a "bother" to him...I don't remember if the food was good or not because all four in my party were astonished with the one guy running around and acting mean to us and the two other customers that were in the restaurant. We would definitely not go back there--the deal was a pretty good bargain, but the proprietor made us feel bad for using the Groupon and maybe that's why he wasn't friendly to us?

Food was ok; not great. Service is difficult to rate when it appears that the owner shows some resentment when you use a Groupon.

Groupon did not have any restrictions other than not usable during happy hour. The first thing the "waiter" told us was "No seafood, no veal". The service was horrible. We were allotted ONE slice of bread per person. I ordered the Italian Garlic Bread and he delivered it to the WRONG table - and they were the only other people in the restaurant ( which only has 7 tablest o begin with!). He never apologized for the mistake - just joked with them that they just got a free appetizer. He SHOULD have given us the appetizer at no charge as well. The food was mediocre and barely lukewarm. There were only 8 people in the restaurant. The "waiter" acted very put out at every request (do you really NEED to request parmesan cheese at an Italian restaurant? Especially when it is nothing more than prepackaged a cheese in a bottle- not even freshly grated table side}. We were hoping to find that wonderful little Italian place that would be our go-to. Sadly, we didn't,,,and we won't be back.

In a restaurant where there were only two tables of guests, our wait was nearly two hours. The food was by far the worst I've ever eaten and in very small portions--but without the fine dining atmosphere or artful food preparation that usually accompanies portions of that size. After a 2 hour wait, the plates of food we received were clearly microwaved. The (I'm estimating 3 oz) of chicken in my chicken parm dish was surrounded by sparseley placed undercooked penne noodles and tomato water. The plate was actually somewhat comical. The aloof waiter excused the wait because "The chef was working on arranging the plate." How could you make food that bad without actually trying to make it that bad? With service so unbelievably aloof, we couldn't help but wonder how this business is still in business... or passing health codes for that matter. In any other scenario, we would have left the place after not getting water within an hour of asking for it. But, we chose to stay to give the small business the benefit of the doubt. We chose poorly.

We always have plenty of excellent food and good red wine as well as lovely conversations with the owner. Unfortunately, it's never busy when we go on the spur of the moment without reservations....amd it should be. We love going there and will definitely return.

Authentic Italian food, including the house wine, salads, and pasta dishes. We and our friends enjoyed the experience very much.
